Local Workspace Guide
FlowDesk v1.5.0 introduces Local Workspace – a magical way to collaborate without the cloud.
How to Host a Session
To host a session:
- Enter your private workspace.
- Go to Settings.
- Toggle Local Workspace on.
FlowDesk will use UDP broadcasting to advertise your session on your local network (Wi-Fi or LAN).
How to Join a Session
For teammates to join, they just need to be connected to the same router or Wi-Fi network.
- Select Join on their app home screen.
- Select your broadcasted workspace.
- Enter their name.
- Wait for your approval.
All syncs happen in real-time via SignalR directly between your computers without hitting any external servers.
